Join us for a special meet and greet and book signing with one of the authors Ann McCallum Staats, co-author of Quilt of Stars. 

Ann will talk about her inspiring new book, share the story behind it, and answer your questions. Each guest will receive a copy of the book to take home, and Ann will be available to sign it.  

A wonderful event for Quilters, book lovers and anyone who loves a good story.

The story is very interesting for quilters: while Karen Nyberg was living aboard the International Space station, she sewed a quilt block in space and then invited people around the world to contribute quilt blocks. Thousands of people from more than 30 countries participated, resulting in 28 king-sized quilts that were displayed at the international quilt festival in Houston.

Ann McCallum Staats is a Canadian-born children's author and former teacher. She grew up in British Columbia and later taught in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. She has written more then 15 books, mostly nonfiction for children.
